What is Sapiens Live?

Sapiens Live: The Story of Us will be a first-of-its-kind immersive experience with purpose that leverages the incredible journey of our species to explore the ultimate cliffhanger: will we still be here a hundred years from now? Rather than passively observing the dance of history, participants will play an active role in shaping the arc of human progress, connecting the past to the present, and choosing which future we want for the next generation.

Where is the attraction?

The producers are considering a variety of locations where Sapiens Live will be launched, including cultural capitals in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

When will tickets be available?

The immersive show will launch in 2023, and tickets will be made available to the public a few months in advance. The best way to stay up to date with Sapiens Live is to sign up for updates via our registration form [insert link direct to that section].

Is Yuval Noah Harari involved?

Yes, Yuval Noah Harari and Itzik Yahav, along with their social impact company, Sapienship, are intimately involved in bringing to life this experiential version of the globally bestselling books Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind, Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow, and 21 Lessons for the 21st Century.

Will people who haven't read Harari’s books enjoy the attraction?

Absolutely. People who haven’t read the books, as well as those already familiar with the subject matter, will enjoy the show’s mind-blowing installations and virtual touchpoints. Going through Sapiens Live will immerse all participants in a deeply personal and universal journey, traversing centuries and cultures in a riveting one-hour adventure.

Anyone who cares about who we are as a species, how we so quickly ascended to dominate the planet, and what our past suggests about the future, will be moved by the experience.

What can those who have already read the books gain from Sapiens Live?

People who are familiar with Yuval Noah Harari’s work will be stunned by the visual, physical and visceral experience of entering the realms of history and ideas explored in Harari’s books. This is an opportunity to face the questions raised in the books head-on and body-first, and to dive into familiar insights in surprising new ways.

Ultimately, Sapiens Live is not about the past, but rather the future, and whether our species will thrive or precipitate our own extinction.

What age range is Sapiens Live most suitable for?

Sapiens Live will be best enjoyed by participants over the age of 10. The immersive experience explores some perplexing and intriguing themes in fun and engaging ways - like the line between fiction and reality, the origin of social inequality, and the ability of machines to hack our minds and deprive us of our own agency. A companion educational curriculum for students in middle school and high school is being developed to further explore these themes.
